We're very excited to have Jennifer Breihan on board with us for this cruise doing double duty as our director and teacher. Jennifer is an ACBL tournament director and silver life master. She first started playing bridge in Austin, TX in 1998.
She's an excellent player, having won flight B of Grand National Teams in Las Vegas in 2014. She and her husband, Jimmy, then bought Westside Bridge Academy with another couple in 2015. This is when she discovered her love of directing, and playing bridge took a back seat.
They managed to grow their club to being the 10th largest in the nation. While Covid undermined their efforts, Jennifer has bounced back and is a member of the Goodwill committee. This will be her third cruise with us as a director, and she's very excited about teaching some new tips and tricks from her unique perspective.
